About

Hi, I’m Ben. I’m a North Wales-based actor, presenter, writer, and someone who was once mistaken for Leonardo DiCaprio in China. (Admittedly, I was wearing sunglasses and the lighting was doing me a lot of favours.)

By day, I’m a primary school teacher and counselling student. By slightly-later-in-the-day, I’m writing for platforms like Vocal.Media, filming travel videos that are equal parts scenic and chaotic, and saying yes to creative projects that give me that “oh, this is what I’m meant to be doing” feeling.

I’ve always had a love for performance, it’s where I feel most myself, even when I’m playing someone else. I’ve performed on stage in various shows, worked on screen in both speaking and supporting artist roles, and presented a radio show where the mic only cut out most of the time. Whether it’s scripted work, live performance or just making an audience feel something, I’m always drawn to the magic of telling stories that connect.

I’ve recently completed filming a lead role in a short film and continue to train in screen acting at WAoSA.

I genuinely love making people laugh, happy, think, or feel a little less alone, and if that can happen through something I’ve written, performed or accidentally tripped over on camera, then even better.
